My research
“Digitalization and datafication are leading to a fundamental transformation of our society, but this is not merely a technical issue and should not be treated as such. These developments are opening up new possibilities, especially for digitally informed humanities and cultural studies, which I explore in my research on digital editing, but also critically examine them in order to contribute new perspectives and models to a pluralistic view and conceptualization of this change and to promote an enlightened, mature approach to such digitization and datafication processes, which—whether we like it or not—do not stop at cultural studies objects.”
