Our office locations
The Corporate Communications department team has two offices: The Communication Hub in the main building and the office on the Campus of the University of Vienna.
Office in the Main Building
The Communication Hub of the University of Vienna is located in the Main Building (Universitätsring 1, 1010 Vienna), on the first floor, staircase 1. From the Aula, take the main staircase on the left to the first floor. Enter the door left of the memorial to Emperor Franz Joseph and take the small staircase up to our office on the mezzanine floor.
Accessibility
- The Communication Hub on the mezzanine floor is not wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair users can only possible access the 1st floor.
- Please use the left entrance on the front side of the Main Building and take the lift in courtyard III to the first floor.

How to reach the Communication Hub
By public transportation
The nearest station is ‘Schottentor’.
- Underground: Line U2
- Tramway: 1, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 71, D
- City bus: 1A
- From the central railway station “Wien Hauptbahnhof”: Take underground line U1 to “Karlsplatz” and change to underground line U2 or tramway lines 1, 71 or D and leave at “Schottentor”.
- From the airport: Route planner of Wiener Linien
By car
- Short-term parking (subject to charges) applies (Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 22:00) in the whole area surrounding the Main Building of the University of Vienna
- The Votivparkgarage car park can be accessed via Universitätsstraße
- Deliveries can be made via the service road of Universitätsring (access after Rathausplatz square, on the left-hand side in travelling direction)
- Car sharing services are available in the immediate vicinity of the Main Building
Office on the Campus
The office on the Campusof the University of Vienna is located in Courtyard 1, in building Number 1.5.1.To reach the office on the Campus, take the Campus entrance on the corner of Alser Strasse/Spitalgasse to enter courtyard 1 and walk to the left. Our office is located in the same location as the Alumni Association (Alumni) and the Sustainability Office.

By public transport
The nearest tramway station is ‘Lange Gasse’.
- Underground: line U2 (10-minute walk)
- Tramway: lines 5, 33, 43, 44
- City bus: 13a (final stop Alser Strasse/Skodagasse)
- From the central railway station “Hauptbahnhof”: Take bus line 13A to Alser Strasse/Skodagasse
- From the airport: Route planner of Wiener Linien
By car
- Short-term parking (subject to charges) applies (Mo-Fr, 9:00-22:00) in the whole area surrounding the Campus of the University of Vienna
- The Votivparkgarage car park can be accessed via Universitätsstraße
- Deliveries can be made via Spitalgasse
- Car sharing services are available in the immediate vicinity of the Campus.
