"Political science is the best available diagnostic tool for the health of our democracy. With my research, I want to contribute to understanding the role of parties, institutions and political elites in the functioning of democratic systems. By comparing Austria with other political systems in Europe in particular, we can learn how to prevent the erosion of democracy and the rule of law in good time." (Laurenz Ennser-Jedenastik)
