Research interests:

* Advanced exposure assessment of food-related chemicals via human biomonitoring
* The impact of multi-class environmental exposures (i.e. the exposome) in health and disease
* The investigation of drug-exposome interactions
* A key aspect is the development and optimization of novel analytical methods based on mass spectrometry and cross-omics approaches guided by global and stable isotope metabolomics. Moreover, the detailed evaluation of metabolism and mixture effects of xenobiotics (food bio-actives and contaminants) are a major focus.

(Benedikt Warth)
